Objective: To learn what our vendor integrations are and how they make Duro's software highly competitive.
Difficulty: Easy
In this article:
Duro is “CAD agnostic,” which means we give our customers the ability to choose which CAD tool they want to use. We are more flexible than other PLM software companies in our offerings of CAD systems, which allows you to choose between two different free CAD tools (SolidWorks and Onshape).
Overview
Duro offers several plugins for CAD tools to improve data integration and user experiences. Below is a table of all the CAD integrations that Duro supports. Onshape and SolidWorks are free integrations that come with your Duro account. All other integrations, including Valispace, Nexus, First Resonance, and SSO, are premium options that must be enabled by your Duro account manager. Once enabled, you can download and connect to the respective integration.
If you'd like to integrate an additional CAD tool into your Duro account, contact us at info@durolabs.co.
CAD integration value
All design work, Change Order alterations, and part number assignments can be managed directly in the CAD tool. Duro maintains extensive records and supports traceability natively through this tool, preventing you from having to jump between multiple platforms to manage your data. We integrate everything, streamlining the PLM process to be as simple as possible.
