Overview
Duro's integration with Linear enables users to connect their project management tools with Duro, centralizing workflows and improving communication and collaboration. Directly connect Change Orders within Duro to Linear to ensure that your team is on the same page and that projects can progress smoothly. The integrations are easy to set up and use, with no coding required, making them accessible to users of all technical backgrounds. Additionally, Duro's integrations are designed to prevent unnecessary steps and expedite the setup process, empowering you to get up and running in just a few clicks.
Administrators can configure Linear integrations. This process involves granting Prismatic access through OAuth to ensure a secure setup.

How to connect your Linear tickets to Duro Change Orders
The workflow for connecting your Linear tickets to Duro Change Orders should be completed in the phases outlined below:
- Enable the integration for Linear within Prismatic
- Create a new ticket in Linear
- Create a new Change Order in Duro
- Reopen Linear to check the Change Order status
Enable the integration for Linear within Prismatic
Follow the steps below to enable the integration for Linear within Prismatic:
- Contact a Duro support specialist to obtain your login credentials for Prismatic.
- Create your account and set your password.
- Login to Prismatic.
- Click on Marketplace in the left navigation.
- Click the Linear tile.
- Click Configure.
- In the Initial Configuration window, click Next.
- In the Configuration window, click Connect in the "Linear Connection" box.
- Follow the authentication prompts through Linear, including signing in and accepting authentication policies.
- Once completed, close the tab and return to Prismatic.
- In the Configuration window, click Next.
- Enter your API key in the Duro Config window. A shortcut to your API key is available via the hyperlink above the text field, or you can access it through the Integrations table in Duro. Then, click Next.
- In the Duro Config window, click Finish.
Create a new ticket in Linear
It's important to take note that if Linear is not currently installed on your device, the setup instructions for integrating Duro may differ. We encourage you to visit the Linear website to obtain the most recent and accurate installation instructions for their software before proceeding with our integration process.
At this stage in the workflow, you will need to create a new ticket in Linear or use an existing ticket which will be connected to Duro in the next section. This ticket will serve as the central repository for all communication and documentation related to this task.
Once created or selected, note the ticket ID (e.g., DUR-8549, PLM-097, CS-23).

Create a new Change Order in Duro
Follow the steps below to create a new Change Order in Duro:
- Login to Duro.
- Click Change Orders in the left navigation.
- Click on New.
- Incorporate the ticket ID into the name of the Change Order (e.g., PLM-6642 ECO, INT-567 Assembly Change) by pasting it into the Name field.*
- Optional: Enter a description of the Change Order
- Add products or components to your Change Order. Update the lifecycle status and revision values of attached items as needed.
- Click Submit for Approval.
Note: The Change Order name can be entirely dedicated to the ticket ID, or you can opt for a more descriptive title that elaborates on the specified changes.

Reopen Linear to check the Change Order status
Now, relaunch Linear to check the status of your Change Order. Upon submitting the Change Order in Duro, Linear automatically retrieves and updates the Change Order data within their respective interfaces. Naming your Duro Change Order to match the ticket ID will automatically link Linear to the Change Order in Duro. A hyperlink to the Change Order will also be displayed in Linear's integration link section. Additionally, Linear will display the real-time status of the Change Order in Duro (Approved, Rejected, or Unresolved).
