- Deleting a user from a group
- The crossover between groups and Change Orders
Organize your company's team members into groups to create structure, help define team roles, and expedite the Change Order submission process. Adding and removing users to groups is an easy process and sharpens team focus on specific areas.
Adding a user to a group
- Log into your Duro account click on your avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select Account Settings.
- In the left navigation, select Groups.
- Observe that there are preset hardcoded groups including the following: Engineering, QA, Procurement, Supplier, Management, Reviewer, and Manufacturer.
- Add a new user to a group by clicking on Add User which is located directly above each group on the right hand side of the screen.
- A new window will appear. Insert the name of the existing user, then select Add User when complete.
Note: There is no requirement for a user to be a part of a group, and a user can be added into multiple groups if necessary.
Deleting a user from a group
Remove users from certain groups by following these steps:
- Log into your Duro account click on your avatar in the top-right corner.
- Select Account Settings.
- In the left navigation, click on Groups.
- Scroll to the group in question, and click on the green “X” next to the name of the user you would like to remove from the group.
- A module will populate asking you to confirm your decision.
- Click YES. The user is now removed from the group.
The crossover between groups and Change Orders
The groups you create in Account Settings can be used to accelerate the creation of Change Orders, specifically in reducing time spent assigning reviewers. Once your groups are created, you can expedite the CO submission process by assigning an entire group to a CO as approvers instead of individually searching for and adding the users. Once added, users can be deleted from their original group or added to other groups if responsibilities change. For more information on approvers, please visit our article on Change Order Approvers, Notifications, and Templates.
