Overview
Duro PDM One provides a secure, cloud-based storage solution that enables teams to collaborate efficiently while maintaining version control. With check-in/check-out functionality, users can lock files for editing, preventing conflicts and ensuring a clear version history.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up PDM One after purchase. After completing these steps, final activation must be completed by the Duro onboarding team to fully enable your system.
Each new user must complete the following steps. See instructions below for additional details on each step:
1. Download and install the CAD Add-in
2. Log into the Duro Web Platform and access the Company Account
3. Create the PDM One Vault folder on your C: drive under your user folder
4. Update the add-in config. file with the vault folder path from above
5. Request activation of your PDM One User account (note if your account is being activated for the first time all users will be activated at the same time).

Step 1: Setup the New PLM User

4. Save the file and ensure it is back in the original directory.
