Ability to make and edit approval groups in Duro
It would be nice to be able to add and edit approval groups for change orders in Duro. The idea is that, for example, an individual from the Manufacturing Engineering group could go in and add their approval for a particular ECO instead of a single individual. Individuals within groups could still be nominally assigned to an ECO, but in case of absence or other reasons, another person from that group could fill in. There should be the option to still have majority or unanimous approval from all groups on COs.

That's an excellent question, and I have some fantastic news to share. The feature you mentioned is already incorporated into Duro and ready for you to utilize. You have the flexibility to personalize the approver and notification lists for ECOs, MCOs, and DCOs. When you access the New Change Order window, you can establish your own list of approvers in two ways: by modifying an existing template to suit your needs (you can keep it private for personal use or share it with your company's team members) or by individually selecting users.
Please refer to our article on Change Order Approvers, Notifications, and Templates for instructions on how to great approver groups.

@... Thank you for responding. It's not really what I was getting at, though. I know that we can add individuals and save templates, but it would be nice to be able to add multiple groups to change orders, not individuals. Eg Manufacturing engineering group, supply chain group, optical engineering group, etc and each of those groups would have individuals within them, and would be able to represent the group as a whole with their approval, but all of the groups on the CO would have to approve.
I would also like to be able to edit groups that are there now instead of just having Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier, etc.
Thanks!

Having this feature would be very useful to larger teams where there may be a few relevant people who could approve on behalf of one group. Without Groups being able to be added as Approvers, a template has to call out individuals by name.
Additionally, the docs here are misleading as they allude to this capability already existing.
The Change Order Approvers, Notification and Templates page (https://duro.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/6434061448084-CO-Approvers-Notifications-and-Templates) says:
Search for the users you want to include. Simply type in the name of the user or group in the Search Bar located directly under the Add Approvers dropdown menu.
Groups do not work in the search bar.
This is also alluded to on the Groups page (https://duro.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/6564929268756-Groups#h_01GMRTBKBT8CVYGFTEHXSCX36R)
The groups you create in Account Settings can be used to accelerate the creation of Change Orders, specifically in reducing time spent assigning reviewers.I very much agree with that! However, the section seems to imply that adding a Group as an Approver simply adds every individual in that Group as an Approver. That is not what Adam (or I) would want. We want the ability for a group to be added an approver such as the Group itself would appear as an approver (i.e. Procurement) and then anyone who is part of that group could step up and Approve, as themselves, on behalf of the group.
