Phantom assemblies
Have the ability to elect whether a subassy is a phantom.
I.e. when you have a CAD assy containing a subassy, but you don’t want that subassy to show up on the BOM- only the child parts (ie. you’re promoting the child parts a level and removing the “sub assy” item in the BOM. The purpose of having the sub assy within CAD is to aid design flow.)
My planned workaround currently is to not include the sub assy in the CAD CPN pull, then manually add the child items (themselves linked in CAD) via the Duro webapp. But it complicates the CAD-Duro linkage in large assemblies and means more oversight is required.

This is also a good feature for reference parts or system level geometry components where the part is virtual and only exists in CAD (ie, workspace visualization, linkage geometry reference driving part, etc)

True- currently our strategy is simply not to pull CPNs of things we don't want in the BOM- but it means you have to go through CAD plugin tree and select/deselect items (which can get finicky when top level assy selects everything below). That could be a different approach.
