Duro provides an easy and convenient way for SolidWorks PDM and CAD users to release SolidWorks files to Duro’s cloud-based PLM. Gauge system requirements and download the latest add-in install file and begin accelerating your workflows.
System requirements
- Windows 10 64-bit
- Solidworks CAD and PDM, Release 2020 or newer
Latest install file: download V3.02 MSI
SolidWorks installation guide
- Ensure SolidWorks is closed.
- Download the latest version and run the install file locally. Please keep the install file on your local system (e.g. desktop) for easy uninstall later.
- In the initial module that populates, click on Next.
- Ensure that the correct folder is selected for the installation, then click on Next.
- Click Next to start the installation.
- Click Close to exit.
- Load SolidWorks and check to see if the Duro icon appears in SolidWorks Resources task pane tab on right side of application. If not, go to Tools, then select Add-ins and activate the Duro add-in.
Update to latest version
[Ensure SolidWorks is closed]
Option 1:
- Run the original installation file again and follow the instructions to uninstall the Duro add-in.
- Follow the installation instructions above to install the latest version.
Option 2:
- In Windows, go to Control Panel.
- Locate Programs and features and select Uninstall a program.
- Right-click on the Duro add-in line item and click Uninstall to remove the Duro add-in from your system (see the image below).
- Follow the installation instructions above to install the latest version.
